Finding Sold Out Tickets for Sporting Events

Posted by Dylan on March 26, 2008

I’m a sucker for sports!!  I’m one of these guys that can watch sport all day long, every day.  It doesn’t have to be a special event or a big match up.  It just has to be live sports!

I also like to go to watch live sports.  Whether its boxing, football, basketball or baseball, I love being in an audience and enjoying the atmosphere.  In the past I’ve had trouble getting tickets for some of the big ones - the ones that are sold out.  A friend suggested that I lookout for sold out sports tickets on the web.  It was great as I found the sold out basketball tickets and sold out baseball tickets that I was looking for.

From now on if I am looking for any type of hard to find tickets online I will do an internet search.  The tickets are easy to buy online and there is fast delivery.   Its just another great way to fuel my obsession with sports!!

I got a flat tire the other day and when I went to the tire store I found that a toyo tire was too expensive. So, after I got home I went online and found the same tire for a lot less! In fact, I was able to get the tire I needed plus high quality cheap chrome rims. My car has never looked so good, except of course when I first got it.

I’m planning on taking a road trip this summer from California to Chicago on the historic route 66. I’m planning on stopping at several classic diners and I really want my car to look great. I think that it will now that I can afford auto tires all around. I don’t know what I would have done if I hadn’t found this web site.

It seems like I’ve spent a fortune with the necessities of my car but now I know that I was just being ripped off before. Performance Tires Plus provides great cheap rims and tires and they have excellent customer service. I should have been shopping through them for years. Now I know what I’ll do when I need something for my car.

Printable Map of the United States

Posted by Dylan on March 18, 2008

A printable map of the United States ended up saving me in 1st hour yesterday. My students don’t have the best textbooks in the world for geography but they’ve been okay thus far in the year. I had them open there books to page 68 yesterday and we found that the old geography teacher had them all ripped out for some reason. I quickly gave them a new assignment.

I went online to find a map for them to use. First I found maps of Asia and then maps of Mexico. At last I found a printable map of the United States. We got enough for the whole day and my students were able to get to the assignment at hand. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do because they had to do that assignment at some point because the objectives align with several of the state’s and the district’s.

I don’t know what I would have done for that assignment. I guess I’ll have to push the district to get them new books. I wonder if they will or if I’ll have to continue to purchase supplies for my students.

Team Building Programs Increase Productivity

Posted by Dylan on March 17, 2008

My boss asked me to come into her office to chat a few weeks ago. She asked me how I thought morale was and if everyone was being productive. I told her that everyone seemed happy enough and that I wasn’t hearing a lot of complaints but that since it will be a while before we have another holiday and three day weekend, they seemed to be bored and in need of corporate team building, to break up the day-to-day routine.

She thanked me and a week or so later she announced that we were all to take a leadership training course. She said the reason for this was two-fold. First, she knows that sitting in front of a computer day after day gets old and she knows that the only days off in the next few months are personal days.

The course was a big success. Not only did we all learn a lot but morale picked up and everyone was smiling. Our boss seemed very human in the eyes of everyone in her department because she seemed like she understood what it’s like to be one of us. Now everyone’s productivity has increased because of the team building programs and I’m up for a promotion since the boss appreciated my honesty and opinion.

Updating My Living Room with Area Rugs

Posted by Dylan on March 14, 2008

Last week my husband and I decided we were going to make our house look nicer by getting a few new accessories. He wanted all new lamps but I thought that curtains and rugs would make the difference. I figured that new area rugs would be less expensive than new furniture.

We found a huge selection of braided rugs and my husband really liked that style. They were not only functional but they were stylish. We both really liked the way the braided rugs matched almost all of our furniture. If we had known about all of the inexpensive ways to give our home a facelift, we would have done that years ago!

So after the living room was finished I thought we would call it a day but no. My husband wanted to do the kitchen and then the bathrooms. All I really thought we would do was pick out a few wall decorations and some accessories. Now I get to redo my kitchen!

Export AOL Address Book to OE

Posted by Dylan on March 14, 2008

I recently purchased a new desktop computer for my home office and I realized that it was going to take me hours and hours to export aol address book to oe. The whole point of getting a new computer was so I could be more efficient with my work and utilize my time better.

I also needed to export address book from blackberry. I finally decided to see what options were available and I looked into the history of address book export. I wish that I would have known about some of the software programs before. Not only would I have saved a lot of time, I could have had my employees save time.

The time we spent on manually copying and pasting addresses was money lost. With the available applications I was able to convert outlook and start getting my work done. In the future my employees will not be able to waste more than a day like I did.

Drug Rehab Program Success

Posted by Dylan on March 12, 2008

Statistics show that success for addicts increases when the individual participates in a drug rehab program. The type of program that works best differs from person to person, based on the individual’s needs. Inpatient treatment has greater success for people with a long history of abuse because they learn the coping skills necessary to re-enter society. Outpatient treatment works best for people with a recent history of addiction. However, people that try to quit on their own or use medically assisted detoxification with no additional therapies from a drug addiction treatment center have the same success rate as those who were never treated at all—which is a very low success rate. The reason that treatment, whether inpatient or outpatient drug rehab, works is because after 3 months, improvements can be seen from the detoxification to relearning coping skills.

Tennis 2008!

Posted by Dylan on March 10, 2008

With the warmer, spring-like weather just around the corner I have been preparing my tennis equipment for another season.  It will be nice to get out into the fresh air again!

As well as playing  I am looking forward to the upcoming grand slam tournaments on TV.  The French Open 2008 looks like it is going to be very entertaining.  I wonder if Nadal and Henin will pull it off again?  Summer will bring the grass courts and rain! of Wimbledon tennis!  I do hope the rain holds off this year!

It promises to be a very competitive year for myself and for professional tennis players.  I am looking forward to some great competition.
